1825- Joseph Perrier is the founder of the eponymous house in Chalons-sur-Marne, a town of which he will become the mayor.
1888- Paul Pithois new owner, researches wine fermentation with Louis Pasteur.
1925- Pierre and Roger Pithois, take over management from their father Paul and celebrate the centenary of the house.
1950- George Pithois, son of Roger, presides over the destinies of Joseph Perrier et Cie for thirty-two years.
1980- Jean-Claude Fourman, the nephew of George Pithois, succeeds him. Born in Epernay, EPFL graduate, married, three children, he is also an advisor to the Banque de France, member of Rotary International, of the Chamber of Commerce, administrator of Medef, and president of Golf de Reims.
Today, the Maison continues its exceptional adventure with the sixth generation of managers, like an echo of the founding father-son tandem of 1825, with the due Jean-Claude and Benjamin Fourmon. The latter, a business school graduate and wine operator, is now the managing director.
