In a nutshell: A dry and bittersweet cider with a hoppy citrus tang from Hogan's of Warwickshire.
The lowdown: Authentic bittersweet fresh pressed cider with just a subtle hint of aromatic English hops helps to create something new and altogether unexpected. At the dry end of the scale this cider is wonderfully complex and zingy.
In 1985 Allen Hogan was introduced to the art of making cider from locally harvested apples at his base near Alcester in Warwickshire.
It wasn't until the mid 2000s though that he started taking his cider to Stratford Farmer's market which started them out on the road to where they are today. They now produce a much wider range of authentic, fresh pressed ciders and perry from a many different varieties that will suit the tastes of anyone who loves properly made cider.
