In a nutshell:
A very accomplished English Chardonnay made in Kent.
Gusbourne are one of the leading English Sparkling wine producers, but they also produce a few exceptional still wines from time to time, this being one of them. This cool climate, lightly oaked, barrel fermented Chardonnay has striking similarities to a good Chablis. There is an elegant lemon citrus streak accompanied with a delicate creaminess from the oak. Well balanced with good acidity and a lovely lingering minerality at the lengthy finish.
When to drink:
It's perfect with light chicken dishes, simply grilled fish, or all by itself.
