In a nutshell: A fresh and tart citrus Fruit Sour from South London's Gipsy Hill Brewing.
The lowdown: Run Nick Run is a citrus sour ale which is super sessionable and soured on their house lactobacillus futures. It was infused with whole pulped lemon and lime pith, peel and all and the citrus oils along with the juice give a depth balancing the fresh, tart notes with a little bitterness. In all a really tangy and refreshing beer.
A south London brewery based in Gipsy Hill itself which is just next to Crystal Palace.
One of their particular objectices is to make unashamedly full flavoured beers, but without going down the road of brewing a lot of high strength ales. All their core range lines are under 5% which allows them the latitude to ensure there's no compromise with body and flavour while, at the same time, meaing they are beers you can happily have more than one of.
