A versatile, fragrant, organic Sicilian white.
Fabrizio Vella is a native Sicilian and like to work with the island's native grapes. Minimal intervention is a watchword for him as he aims to leave the wines with as much character as possible. Here he's made a wine with heaps of complexity. At first it's crisp and punchy with green apple aromas, then the citrus character comes through and the wine's rich texture gives an impression of lemon drizzle cake as it gets to the finish.
With food it's very adaptable and will go well with pasta, chicken and spicy foods in particular.
