The lowdown: A fantastic collaboration between Elusive and Solvay. Solvay Society are a modern East London brewery with a real Belgian heart to its beers. Brewed with a blend of English Golding and German Mandarina Bavaria hops this is described as a highly drinkable Bitter Blonde beer by Solvay, and as a Belgian-inspired IPA by Elusive, sort of take your pick. Aromatic with a refreshing and balanced bitterness this is a super tasty Belgian Blonde-style IPA.
Elusive brewing, set up in the mid 2010's, is the baby of Andy Parker a former national home-brew champion who's since gone on to win awards at many other levels. They operate from a small brewery in Finchampstead in Berkshire wehre yhey create beer with one eye on tradition and the other on taking things to the next level.
