Doña Paula is one of Argentina's leading, modern wineries and is at the forefront of exploring and investing in new, high quality wine regions in Argentina. Established in 1997, they own all of their vineyards covering 700 hectares. These vineyard sites are located in the best subregions within Mendoza including Ugarteche, Altamira, Gualtallary and Tupungato. Their headquarters are to be found in the city of Mendoza itself.
The vineyards have always been cultivated using sustainable methods which helps to maximise the true expression of terroir, and in 2019 Doña Paula was certified as a sustainably managed winery by Bodegas de Argentina. Under the guidance of Martín Kaiser, head viticulturist and head of R&D, they continually innovate in vineyard management pratices to ensure they stay producing top quality wines from one year to the next.
They're certainly among the big players in the Argentinian wine industry and make wines right across the price spectrum. Their top cuvées are regular award winners and always rate highly among critics and journalists across the world.
