A clean and refreshing white from the interior of Corsica.
Wine has been made on this paert of the Mediterranean for millennia with a number of different varietals native to the islands. This white is made from one of these, Vermentino, grown high up in the Corsican interior. Clos Venturi now practices biodynamic farming and wine making which they believe is the best way forward in the modern era to maintain and improve quality as well as displaying the uniqueness of the land and region that the grapes and wine is from. This has a crisp and refreshing nose of white stone and citrus fruit with citrus blossom as well. The palate has a pleasing weight to it with a medley of tropical, white and citrus fruit flavours that continue on the long, clean finish.
It's a good partner to seafood, grilled white fish, or light pasta dishes.
