Corton-Charlemagne is home to some of the world's most expensive and highest quality white wines made exclusively from Chardonnay. This Grand Cru vineyard at the northern end of the Cote de Beaune enjoys a southern exposure and sits on deep limestone soils. The grapes are handpicked and fermented in barrels before maturing in oak barrels (50% new) for 14 months. A classic and elegant nose of white flowers, honeysuckle and lemon. The palate is rich and beautifully weighted with fresh, clean acidity and a seemingly never-ending length.
