In a nutshell:
A great value red blend from the warm and arid south of Portugal.
The little known Alentejo region, in the hot, dry inland region south of Lisbon, is a source of super value generously fruity wines. This is a modern fresh tasting blend of tradtional varieties such as Touriga Nacional and Aragonez with a bit of Syrah which is making inroads in the region. Among the rich, soft fruit flavours is a touch of dried fruit.
When to drink:
Great with pasta, lamb, or poultry dishes.
