DESCRIPTION
A really grown up wine; 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, it has great structure and a real chocolately depth about it. The wine spends 12 months in oak which delivers extra depth and complexity.
A food wine without any doubt, especially hearty beef dishes, or something with a bit of spice. Like many wines from the Languedoc, it's extremely good value.

Under the ownership of Maryline and Philippe Pagès since the nineties, the chateau has a history reputed to go back several centuries.
The domaine itself is situated in the Gard between Nimes and Montpeillier and is planted mainly with Syrah and Grenache with some Chardonnay used for white wines.
