A Californian red full of jammy fruits and luscious flavours.
Aged in Amercian oak for twelve months to give generously full body it has a complex nose of prune, black fruits, mint and sweet spice. The ripe fruits are supported by spice, herbacous notes and liquorice while the soft, grippy tannins give a decent length.
Roast, or barbecued lamb make a good partner as do smoky cheeses.
