An intense and concentrated wine made with the archetypal grape of California.
Dry farmed vines, no irrigation here, are used which give small concentrated clusters of grapes need to reach the desired richness. Big and bold filled wth rich, ripe fruits and sweet spice yet with vibrant red fruits as well and a touch of Black Forest Gateau. Sensitive use of 2 year old American oak for maturation give the finished product the ideal balance.
Great with top quality grilled or barbecued sausages.

A real family enterprise in every sense of the word. Father and son Warren and Chris Bogle planted the first vineyards in Clarksburg, California in 1965 and since then they've grown steadily over the years to the point where they now have over 14 sites across the cooler parts of the Sacramento River Delta area.
The estate is now overseen by Chris Bogle's sons Warren Junior and Ryan and daughter Jody.
