In a nutshell:
A creamy, smooth and complex Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey
While Kentucky is often considered the centre for Bourbon the neighbouring state of Tennessee runs it a close second in terms in terms of quantity, especially when you consider that one of the biggest of all brands, Jack Daniels, hails from here. There's also a number of top notch smaller producers of which this is a very good example. Made from a blend of corn, rye and malt this whiskey has been slowly aged in oak casks. The nose is wonderfully fresh with hints of lime, dried orange and soft spices which follow on to the palate where a bit of sweet cinnamon comes through as well. It finishes off nicely creamy, very smooth and very satisfyling. Quite a moreish drop, it's one you'll keep coming back to.
