A few steps back to normality
Since March, when lockdown started, we have been in warehouse mode, which meant that customers had no access to the shop other than to collect their orders, which had been placed either online, by phone or email.
We have now changed it up a little. Over the last couple of weeks, we have been in the process of transitioning the shop to allow you (our customers) access into the shop. Although you do not have complete access like you had when we were operating normally, there are better browsing opportunities than we have had recently. Our aim is to offer a better, more efficient browsing environment while continuing to deliver on our online orders as we have been.
We have now completed our transition. Therefore, from today (Tuesday 7th July), we are accepting customers into the front area of the shop, a maximum of four customers at any one time. In this area, we have five fridges filled with a selection of our white, rosé and sparkling wines, along with a variety of our craft beers and ciders. There are two service points, a display of our great value reds, our cask ale rack, a desktop for browsing our website and two tablets for browsing as well. If you are collecting an order, we would urge you to head around to the rear entrance, to save getting stuck behind a customer placing an order.
Although you may not be able to browse our shelves, you can now browse our whole range in-store by using the desktop and tablets that we have set up. We are hoping this will make your browsing experience easier and more efficient. As always, our staff members will be around if you need any assistance.
Please note that even though the shop is now open to customers, where possible, we would still urge you to order online, over the phone or by email. We will be continuing to deliver, as we have been, on the efficiency of our click-and-collect, local and national delivery orders.
Once again, thank you for all your support!
