A new year. Why not broaden your horizons this January and try something different?! Always going for those new world Pinot Noirs and classic Burgundies? How about try a quality Morgon, they can show you what Beaujolais can be - medium-bodied, soft, rounded and fruity with a real depth and complexity, or a Ruché from Piedmont in north east Italy. This rare grape produces soft and velvety reds with a real purity of fruit.

Like your big Cabernets and Malbecs? Why not explore the big, warming reds of southern Italy like the Aglianico grape from the regions of Campania and Bailicata. Or perhaps a full-bodied, rich and fruity, organic red blend from Chile like the Emiliana Coyam or a Durif from Australia - full, dark and earthy, a perfect accompaniment to red meat and grilled dishes.

Like your crisp Gavis and Sauvignon Blancs? Then why not give a cool-climate Galician white from north west Spain a go. From there you have the increasing popular Albarinos from the Rias Baixas wine region that borders northern Portugal. However also from north west Spain you have lesser know whites made with the Treixadura variety, like the lovely Flower and the Bee from the wine region of Ribeiro.

Prefer a big oaky Chardonnay? Why not try a southern Rhone Viognier blend from warm-climate Australia like the d'Arenberg Hermit Crab? Something unoaked but soft and rounded? Then try an Alsatian Pinot Blanc or a southern Italian Fiano, lots of white stone fruits and gentle blossom notes.

Travel the world by wine! Not been to Georgia where they have been making wine for over 4000 years? Then get a hearty stew on the go and open up a bottle of Georgian Wine! Fancied visiting the amazing scenery of Patagonia? Then give our smooth, medium-bodied red Trousseau from that part of the world a go. From the stunning Central Otago region of South Island, New Zealand to the heat of Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, the foothills of the Italian Alps and ancient Hungary try a wine from somewhere different this January!
